Purpose of the position:

To promote and sell the Company’s products and services through representatives and direct sales that meet or exceed sales goals for this position. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with representatives and customers in order to achieve given targets. Must have a professional sales background as well as a technical background.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieving a given sales target
  • Developing & supporting representatives’ sales
  • Developing and maintaining relations with representatives
  • Developing and maintaining relations with customers (end-users, contractors, installation companies, and engineering firms).
  • Project management (lead development, proposal writing, closing deal, etc.)
  • Representing Company at regional and national tradeshows

Position Requirements (knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business
  • At least 3 years of working with external customers
  • Proven success presenting information to various audiences (fellow executives, employees, clients, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM such as Sales Force
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of general business accounting skills
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics
