Introduction

Why is boiler water treatment so important? Water, arguably Earth's most important resource is required by all living organisms for survival. It also plays an extremely important role in human society. We use fresh water in an enormous and varied array of industrial process and systems. Used for heating and cooling, cleaning and sanitation, high quality h2o is exceptionally important to industry.

The evolution of this natural resource through it's three phases (liquid, solid and gas) makes up the hydrological of fresh h2o resources. These resources make up only 1% of the amount on Earth. Water is able to dissolve, to some degree, all compounds on Earth and for this reason rarely exists as a pure substance in nature. It generally contains a variety of substances; for example, minerals such as calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, silica, sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, iron, and manganese, and a large variety of other material. These substances tend to alter the properties and interaction with other substances.

By modifying the amount and type of chemicals dissolved and suspended we may alter it's properties to improve the function and efficiency of processes that use in industrial operations.

Miura WT Series Water Softeners are designed to deliver greater capacity in less space. Our simple and sound mechanical design has only one upstream moving part with fully automated control valves to ensure a continuous 24 hour supply of conditioned h2o. The WT series softeners saves up to 50% in salt and uses considerably less by automatically regenerating only when required. With the systems brine refill, you get consistent brining regardless of salt levels for optimum performance.
